Pakistan defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the third ODI to win the three-match series 1-2. In the series decider played at the Iqbal Stadium, the visiting team won the toss and elected to bat. The entire South African team was bowled out for 143 runs in the 37th over. For South Africa, Quinton de Kock scored 53 and Johan de Pretorius scored 39. Peter and Matthew Burtzki scored 16 runs each. For Pakistan, Abrar Ahmed got 4 wickets, Shaheen Afridi, Salman Agha and Muhammad Nawaz got 2 wickets each.
