chairman Indian Cricket Board Secretary Jay Shah, son of Home Minister Amit Shah, who belongs to India’s Hindu extremist party BJP, has taken charge of the ICC chairmanship. The ICC office has also confirmed that Jay Shah has started his duties as the ICC Chairman.
Jay Shah said in his statement that he is proud to assume the post of ICC Chairman, grateful for the support and trust of the ICC Directors and Member Boards. According to reports, the Champions Trophy issue is expected to be resolved by tomorrow, there is a strong possibility that the Champions Trophy issue will be resolved before the ICC Board Members’ meeting takes a vote.
If the Indian Cricket Board and ICC accept Pakistan’s formula, then for the next three years neither the Indian team will come to Pakistan to play nor the Pakistani team will go to India to play matches.
