Pakistan’s top cricketers became part of the Australian Big Bash League. Fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and batsmen Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were selected by different franchises and all three players were selected in the Platinum category.
Shaheen Afridi, who is playing the league for the first time, was selected by Brisbane Heat, while Haris Rauf will once again play for Melbourne Stars. Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has been selected by Melbourne Renegades, the same team also includes Pakistan’s Hasan Khan, who was selected by Melbourne Renegades.
Pakistan’s Shadab Khan has been made a part of the team by Sydney Thunder, in addition to this, Babar Azam has already been signed with Sydney Sixers. Babar will play BBL for Sydney Sixers. Fast bowler Hasan Ali will play BBL for Adelaide Strikers.
