The Vice President of the Indian Cricket Board Rajiv Shukla has been made the Acting President of the Indian Board. According to sources, Roger Bani is no longer the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, after which the Vice President Rajiv Shukla is currently holding the post of interim President until the next elections.
Rajiv Shukla will remain in charge until the next BCCI elections in September. In 2015, Rajiv Shukla was unanimously re-appointed as the IPL Chairman by the BCCI, while on 18 December 2020, he was elected unopposed as the BCCI Vice President.
According to Indian media reports, Roger Binny may continue as BCCI president if he is re-elected next month. If he is not elected, BCCI will get a new president after September.
