Indian Team Announced for T20 World Cup, Key Player Misses Out.

India have announced their squad for the T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held at the beginning of next year. The Indian Cricket Board has named the squad for the T20 World Cup 2026, with Suryakumar Yadav appointed as the team captain. The squad includes Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, and Shivam Dube.

Other players selected are Axar Patel, Rinku Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana, and Arshdeep Singh. Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Washington Sundar, and Ishan Kishan have also been included in the squad. India’s T20 vice-captain Shubman Gill has failed to make the World Cup squad, and Axar Patel has been appointed as the new vice-captain of the Indian team in his place.
