PSL 11 Opening Match, Lahore Qalandars Defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen by 69 Runs.

HBL PSL 11 opening match, Lahore Qalandars defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen by 69 runs. In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to bat against Hyderabad Kingsmen. Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 199 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Qalandars opener Fakhar Zaman played an innings of 53 runs off 39 balls, he hit 10 fours. Hasibullah Khan remained not out after scoring 40 runs, Muhammad Naeem scored 30 runs.


In response to the target of 200 runs, the Hyderabad Kingsmen team was bowled out for 130 runs off the last ball. Hyderabad Kingsmen captain Marnus Labuschagne was outstanding with 26 runs. Riley Meredith scored 19 and Hassan Khan scored 14 runs. For Qalandars, Haris Rauf, Sikandar Raza and Obaid Shah took two wickets each. On the occasion of the opening match, former captain Wasim Akram brought the PSL 11 trophy to the field. Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz also attended the opening ceremony held at Gaddafi Stadium.
