In HBL PSL 11, Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars by 4 wickets. Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bat against Karachi Kings. Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored 128 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Abdullah Shafiq scored 33 and Haseebullah scored 28 runs. For Karachi Kings, Moeen Ali, Mir Hamza and Adam Zampa got 2 wickets each. Karachi Kings achieved the target of 129 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the last over. Muhammad Wasim played an innings of 38 runs for Kings. Apart from them, Saad Baig and Moeen Ali scored 18 runs each. Captain Shaheen Afridi got 4 wickets for Qalandars.
The umpire also awarded Karachi Kings a 5-run penalty against Lahore Qalandars, this penalty was imposed due to a change in the condition of the ball during Karachi Kings’ innings. The field umpire awarded Karachi Kings 5 penalty runs because he was not satisfied with the condition of the ball.
