Former owner of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans, Ali Tareen, is once again interested in purchasing the Multan team. According to sources, Ali Tareen has decided to participate in the bidding process for the ownership rights of the Multan PSL team. He has submitted the required documents to take part in the bidding for Multan Sultans.
Earlier, Ali Tareen had declined to retain ownership of Multan Sultans and had participated in the bidding for two new PSL teams, but withdrew at the last moment. Commenting on his withdrawal from the bidding for the new teams, Ali Tareen had stated that if he were to return to the PSL, it would be for South Punjab.
