PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has stated that all matters with India will be dealt with on an equal basis. He said that if the Indian side is not interested in a handshake, Pakistan has no such desire either. Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Mohsin Naqvi said that the conduct of the Indian Under-19 team would be taken up with the ICC, and that the PCB is writing to the ICC regarding the Indian team’s behavior.

Mohsin Naqvi further said that Wasim Akram has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He added that instead of March 26, the PCB wants to start the PSL from March 23, and a final decision will be made in consultation with all franchises. The PCB Chairman also stated that after the conclusion of the PSL, the auction of Multan Sultans will be held. He said that Multan Sultans will be operated by the PCB itself this year. For the two new PSL teams, 10 parties have qualified, and the bidding for PSL teams will take place on January 8 in Islamabad.
