The trophy unveiling ceremony of the Asia Cup 2025 was held in Dubai today, where Asian Cricket Council Chairman Mohsin Naqvi unveiled the trophy. On this occasion, the captains of all the participating teams also addressed a joint press conference.
It should be noted that the Asia Cup 2025 is starting today in the United Arab Emirates, with the opening match being played between Hong Kong and Afghanistan.
Speaking to the media, Pakistan’s T20 captain Salman Ali Agha said that there were no specific instructions regarding the Pakistan-India clash; the team’s focus would remain on its own game and performance. He added that if any team or player shows emotions on the field, Pakistan is ready to respond. Salman further said that the team has performed well in the past and will strive to continue the same, accepting every challenge with confidence in the Asia Cup.

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav remarked that in this format, any team can deliver exceptional performances. He added that India is returning to T20 cricket after a long break and is eager to perform well. Afghanistan’s captain Rashid Khan stated that the tournament is very important for his side, and they will give their 100 percent. He emphasized that the team is working hard and is motivated to achieve victories in big tournaments.
