Australia defeated England by 5 wickets thanks to Josh Ingles’ brilliant century in the fourth match of the Champions Trophy. In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Australian captain Steve Smith won the toss and invited England to bat. England scored 351 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs thanks to Ben Duckett’s brilliant 165. In reply, Australia achieved the target in 47.3 overs.
From Australia, Ben Darshis got 3 wickets, Adam Zampa, Marnes Labushin got two, and Glenn Maxwell got one wicket.
Australia also faced difficulties at the beginning of the innings, but after 2 wickets fell for 27 runs, Matthew Short and Marnos Labushin supported the team and established an important partnership.
