Left-hander Ben Duckett played a brilliant innings of 165 runs, anchoring England’s batting. Among the bowlers, Ben Dwarshuis claimed 3 wickets, while Adam Zampa and Marnus Labuschagne took two each. Glenn Maxwell chipped in with one.

Chasing a stiff target, Australia stumbled early, losing two wickets for just 27 runs. However, Matthew Short (63) and Marnus Labuschagne (47) steadied the innings with a crucial partnership. Later, Alex Carey (69) joined Josh Inglis to add 160 runs for the fourth wicket, taking Australia within touching distance of victory.
The star of the night was Josh Inglis, who remained unbeaten on a spectacular 120 off 86 balls, guiding Australia to victory in 47.3 overs with 5 wickets in hand.
For England, Mark Wood and Jofra Archer picked up one wicket each, while Brydon Carse, Adil Rashid, and Liam Livingstone took a wicket apiece.
