Australia defeated England by 5 wickets thanks to Josh Ingles’ brilliant century in the fourth match of the Champions Trophy. In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Australian captain Steve Smith won the toss and invited England to bat. England scored 351 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs thanks to Ben Duckett’s brilliant 165. In reply, Australia achieved the target in 47.3 overs.

From Australia, Ben Darshis got 3 wickets, Adam Zampa, Marnes Labushin got two, and Glenn Maxwell got one wicket.

Australia also faced difficulties at the beginning of the innings, but after 2 wickets fell for 27 runs, Matthew Short and Marnos Labushin supported the team and established an important partnership. On a total score of 122, Marnos Labushin returned to the pavilion after scoring 47 runs, after which Matthew Short also got out after scoring 63 runs.

Then Alex Kerre and Josh Ingles formed a valuable partnership and took the team score to 282, Alex Kerre was dismissed with 69 runs. Josh Ingles was not out with 120 runs from 86 balls. Australia achieved the target in 47.3 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.

Mark Wood and Jofra Archer got one wicket each for England. Braden Kars, Adil Rashid and Liam Livingston got one wicket each.
