Pakistan T20 captain Salman Ali Agha has expressed his desire that questions about Babar Azam not be raised during press conferences, saying he should be allowed to focus on his batting.Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Salman Ali Agha said that there are other players besides Babar Azam who can be discussed. He added that Babar’s performance in the Big Bash League does not concern him, as Babar is batting well.
He further stated that the series against Australia is very important for Pakistan, and that roles are clearly defined for all players, with everyone aware of their responsibilities. It should be noted that the Pakistan–Australia series begins tomorrow at Gaddafi Stadium. The second and third T20 matches will be played on Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1, respectively. All matches will begin at 4:00 PM.
