The International Cricket Council has released the rankings of T20 players. According to the ICC rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma has retained the first position in the batsmen, while Australia’s Travis Head is second and India’s Tilak Verma is third. Pakistan’s Hassan Nawaz and Saim Ayub have improved their positions in the T20 batsmen rankings.
Pakistan’s Hassan Nawaz rose 24 places to 30th, Saim Ayub rose 25 places to 38th, but Babar Azam dropped 3 places to 17th. In addition, India’s Yashvi Jaiswal rose one place to 10th, while Australia’s Tim David rose 2 places to 16th.
The ICC T20 bowlers’ rankings have also seen an improvement in the global rankings of Pakistani players. Pakistan’s Sufyan Muqeem has jumped 69 places to 35th in the rankings, while Mohammad Nawaz has jumped 51 places to 56th.
