Multan Test: Brooke’s double century after Root ends Pakistan’s first innings lead

On the fourth day of the Multan Test, England's batting continues in the first innings against Pakistan and the visiting team has ended the Green Caps' first innings lead of 556 runs.

In the match being played at the International Cricket Stadium in Multan, England started their innings on the fourth day when Joe Root was at the wicket with 176 runs and Harry Brooke with 141 runs.

Pakistan scored 556 runs in their first innings thanks to centuries from Shaan Masood, Abdullah Shafiq and Salman Ali Agha.

 

Both players are at the wicket now and England have scored 628 runs for the loss of 3 wickets and the Blue Caps lead Pakistan by 72 runs with 7 wickets remaining.
