Pakistan de Defeated Ireland by 38 runs in ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier.

Pakistan defeated Ireland by 38 runs in the first match of the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2025. In the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Pakistan Women scored 217 runs, with Sidra Amin and Alia Riaz scoring fifties. In reply, the Irish team was bowled out for 179 runs.

Pakistan’s first wicket fell for 4 runs against Ireland, then Sidra Amin and Muneeba Ali took the score to 81, Muneeba scored 32 runs. Sidra was dismissed for 51 and Aaliya for 52 runs. Captain Fatima Sana scored 19 runs and Pakistan team was dismissed for 217 runs in 49 overs.

 Chasing 218 runs, Ireland Women’s captain Gabby Lewis and Amy Hunter scored 44 runs each, but the incoming batsmen Diana Baig, Nashra Sindhu and Sadia Iqbal could not match the bowling of the team and the entire team was bowled out for 179 runs.

For Pakistan, Diana Baig took 4 wickets, Nashra Sindhu took 3 wickets and Sadia Iqbal took 2 wickets.
