Pakistan won the series by defeating South Africa in the second ODI.

Cape Town: Pakistan won the series by defeating South Africa by 81 runs in the second match of the ODI series. Pakistan’s Kamran Ghulam was named the man of the match.

South African captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat. Playing first, the Pakistan team scored 329 runs in 49.5 overs.

On behalf of Pakistan, Saeem Ayub scored 25 runs, Abdullah Shafiq Safar, Babar Azam scored 73 runs and captain Mohammad Rizwan scored 80 runs while Salman Ali Agha played an innings of 33 runs. Kamran Ghulam scored 63 runs off 32 balls with the help of 5 sixes. Irfan Khan scored 15, Shaheen Afridi scored 16, Haris Rauf scored 6. Mafaka scored 4 from South Africa. Marco Jansson took 3 wickets.

In pursuit of Pakistan’s target of 329 runs, South Africa’s Henrik Klaasen scored 97, batsman Tony Zizorzi 34, David Miller 29, Recy van der Desen 23, Aiden Markram 21 and Temba Bauma scored 12 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi four, Naseem Shah 3 and Abrar Ahmed 2 and Salman Ali Agha took 1 wicket.
