Johannesburg: Cricket South Africa has finalised the venues for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027, while introducing the Local Organising Committee for the event.
A total of 44 matches will be staged in South Africa across eight cities — Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, East London, Paarl and Kimberha. The other 10 games of the 54-match tournament will be shared between Zimbabwe and Namibia.
The 2027 edition will be a jointly hosted World Cup, with South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia welcoming teams for the showpiece event.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in October and November 2027, bringing the 50-over World Cup back to South African soil after more than two decades.
