Lahore: The third day of the first Test of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and South Africa came to an end and the visiting team scored 51 for 2 in reply to Pakistan’s 277-run target. The first Test between Pakistan and South Africa is underway in Lahore. Where Pakistan scored 378 runs in the first innings, the visiting team could only score 269 runs in reply. The Pakistani team was bowled out for 167 runs in the second innings of the first Test against South Africa, and the visiting team was given a target of 277 runs.
Opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq, who had scored 93 runs in the first innings for Pakistan, was dismissed early this time, while captain Shan Masood could add only 7 runs. Abdullah Shafiq was dismissed for 41 runs, while Babar Azam returned to the pavilion for 42 runs on a total of 119. Saud Shakeel was dismissed for 38 runs on a total of 150. Mohammad Rizwan also scored 14 runs while Shaheen Afridi was out for zero on a total of 151. Agha Salman scored 4, Noman Ali 11, Sajid Khan scored one run.
