The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule for South Africa’s tour of Pakistan this year. Two Tests, three T20Is and three ODIs will be played during the tour.

According to sources, international cricket will return to Pakistan’s third largest city, Faisalabad, after 17 years. The last time an ODI was played here was in April 2008 between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in that match.

According to the schedule released by the PCB, the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from October 12 to 16, while the second Test will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from October 20 to 24.

After the Test matches, the T20 series between the two countries will begin, in which the two teams will compete in Rawalpindi on October 28 and in Lahore on October 31 and November 1. The three one-day matches between the two teams will be played at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on November 4, 6 and 8.
