From the UAE, Shoaib Khan was the outstanding batsman with 68 runs off 48 balls, thanks to 6 fours and 4 sixes, while Alishan Sharfoo added 40 runs. 5 players of the UAE team could not even enter double figures, out of which three players returned to the pavilion for zero, while the remaining two players scored 3 runs each. Opening batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz was dismissed for zero by Afghanistan, but then Ibrahim Zadran gave the team a good start by scoring 53 runs. Azmatullah Umarzai played a key role in the team’s victory by scoring 40 runs in 21 balls with 3 sixes and 2 fours.
