T20 World Cup: Harry Brook’s Brilliant Century, England Reached the Semi-Finals After Defeating Pakistan.

In the Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup, England easily defeated Pakistan by 2 wickets and qualified for the semi-finals. Pakistan captain Salman Agha won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan scored 164 runs for 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sahibzada Farhan 45, Saim Ayub 7, Salman Ali Agha 5, Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman 25, 25, Usman Khan 8, Shadab Khan 23 and Shaheen Shah 2 runs were out. For England, Liam Dawson got 3 wickets, Jamie Overton and Jofra Archer got 2 wickets each.

England easily achieved Pakistan’s target for 8 wickets in the last over thanks to captain Harry Brook’s brilliant century. England’s first wicket fell for naught. Phil Salt fell to Shaheen on the first ball. Jos Buttler also got out for 2 runs off Shaheen’s ball. Jacob Bethell returned to the pavilion for 8 runs. In addition, Tom Bunton got out for 2 runs off Usman Tariq’s ball, while Harry Brook scored a brilliant century while batting responsibly. He played an innings of 100 runs off 51 balls. Will Jacks scored 28 runs. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi got 4 wickets, Mohammad Nawaz and Usman Tariq got 2 wickets each.
