T20 World Cup: Pakistan defeats Namibia to qualify for the Super 8 round.

Pakistan defeated Namibia by 102 runs in the ICC T20 World Cup and qualified for the Super 8 stage. In the match played in Colombo, national team captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and decided to bat first. Thanks to Sahibzada Farhan’s brilliant century, Pakistan set Namibia a target of 200 runs to win. Chasing the target of 200 runs, the Namibian team was bundled out for 97 runs. Pakistan opened the innings with Sahibzada Farhan Salman Ali scoring 106 and Salman Ali Agha scoring 38. For Namibia, Jack Bressell got 2 wickets and Gerhard Erasmus got 1 wicket.

Chasing Pakistan’s target of 200 runs, Namibia’s batting line-up proved to be a wall of sand and the entire team was dismissed for 97 runs in the 18th over. Shadab Khan got 3 wickets and Usman Tariq got 4 wickets. With this success, Pakistan qualified for the Super 8 stage along with India from Group A.
