An important meeting regarding Lahore Youth Festival was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Lahore Zaid bin Maqsood and Secretary Sports Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial.
In the meeting, the arrangements of Lahore Youth Festival were reviewed DG Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal, Additional DG LDA Dr. Mujtaba participated in the meeting. Officers from City District Government, PHA, Higher Education, Police and Information Department were also present in the meeting.
DG Sports Punjab Parvez Iqbal gave a briefing about sports events in Lahore Youth Festival Sports competitions are being held in Lahore Youth Festival. A large number of athletes will participate in marathon, cycling and other sports events as registration in cycling and marathon is open and anyone can participate.
Trials of Lahore Youth Festival will be held at Punjab Stadium. Students are also registering for competitions in universities. Best arrangements are being made for the Lahore Youth Festival. Competitions of music bands in Lahore Youth Festival will be held at Al Hamra. The float of Lahore Youth Festival will continue visiting universities till October 16. The final matches of Lahore Youth Festival will be held on November 7-9 at Fortress Stadium.
