In the third match of the Asia Cup T20 tournament, Hong Kong set a target of 144 runs for Bangladesh to win. In the Group B match in the Asia Cup, Bangladesh captain Liton Das won the toss and invited Hong Kong to bat. Hong Kong scored 143 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Nazakat Khan and Zeeshan Ali were the top scorers with 42 and 30 runs respectively. Yassim Mortaza scored 28 and Babar Hayat scored 14 runs respectively. Taskin Ahmed, Tanzeem Hasan and Rashad Hossain got 2 wickets each for Bangladesh.
Bangladesh achieved the target in 17.4 overs for the loss of three wickets. Litton Das scored 59 and Towhid Hridoy scored 35 runs for Bangladesh. Atiq Iqbal got two wickets and Ayush Shukla got one wicket for Hong Kong.

Bangladesh is playing its first match in the event, while this is Hong Kong’s second match. Hong Kong previously suffered a defeat at the hands of Afghanistan.
