Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during which an important decision regarding participation in the World Cup was made. Following the meeting, the Government of Pakistan announced that Pakistan will take part in the T20 Cricket World Cup but will not play against India. The Pakistan–India match in the T20 World Cup is scheduled for February 15.

Meanwhile, the reasons behind Pakistan’s decision not to play against India on February 15 have come to light. Government sources stated that there are several reasons for this decision, with the ICC’s biased decision regarding Bangladesh being a key factor.
