Abdullah Shafiq and Imam-ul-Haq opened the innings for Pakistan. Imam-ul-Haq was bowled by Harmer for 17 runs while Abdullah Shafiq played an innings of 57 runs. Babar Azam fell to Keshav Maharaj for 16 runs while Shan Masood and Mohammad Rizwan were dismissed for 87 and 19 runs respectively. Saud Shakeel remained unbeaten on 42 and Agha Salman remained unbeaten on 10 runs.
