In the fifth match of the ICC T20 World Cup, England defeated Nepal by four runs after a nail-biting encounter. England won the toss and elected to bat against Nepal. For Nepal, Dipendra Singh and Nandan Yadav claimed two wickets each.

Chasing a target of 185 runs, Nepal put up a strong fight. The Nepalese team managed to score 180 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Nepal needed 10 runs in the final over, but England’s bowler Sam Curran delivered an excellent spell, conceding only five runs in the last over. Dipendra Singh top-scored for Nepal with 44 runs, while Rohit and Lokesh chipped in with 39 runs each. For England, Liam Dawson got two wickets, while Sam Curran, Jofra Archer, and Luke Wood picked up one wicket apiece.
