Pakistan’s top snooker player Muhammad Asif won the IBSF World Snooker Championship in Doha and crowned himself the world champion for the third time.
42 Year-old Qist Muhammad Asif entered the World Snooker Championship as a wild card qualifier and after winning the qualifying round, he performed brilliantly in the main round and then the knockout round to clinch the title.
In the final, Asif faced Iran’s player Ali Garagozlu. Asif won the first frame of the best-of-9 frame final with a score of 25-70. In the second frame, Ali made a comeback and scored 94 points against 7. A competition. Equal to one.
