Pakistan defeated West Indies by 14 runs in the deciding match of the 3-match T20 series to clinch the series. In the match played in Lauderhill, Florida, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and decided to bat first.
In the allotted 20 overs, the national team scored 189 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Chasing a target of 190 runs, the West Indies team could score 176 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Two changes were made in the Pakistan team for the third and final T20. Haris Rauf was included in the national team in place of Shaheen Afridi and Khushdil Shah was included in the playing eleven in place of Fakhar Zaman.
Pakistan scored 189 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs thanks to brilliant half-centuries from Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan. Sahibzada Farhan scored 74 runs and Saim Ayub scored 66 runs. In addition, Hassan Nawaz scored 15 runs and Muhammad Haris scored 2 runs. Khushdil Shah remained unbeaten on 11 runs and Faheem Ashraf on 10 runs.
Jason Holder, Roston Chase and Shemar Joseph got one wicket each for West Indies. It should be noted that Pakistan won the first match of the 3-match series while West Indies won the second.
