World Athletics Championships: Trinidad and Tobago Wins Gold in Javelin Throw.

Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem, India's Neeraj Chopra out of Medal Race.

An athlete from Trinidad and Tobago won the gold medal in the javelin throw event at the World Athletics Championships. The final of the javelin throw event at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo was held in which Trinidad and Tobago’s Kershawn Wilcott won the gold medal. He won the gold medal by throwing 88.16 meters in the final round.

Apart from this, the silver medal went to Anderson Peters while the bronze medal was won by Curtis Thompson of the United States. Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem was out of the medal race in the final. In the final stage, Arshad Nadeem made his first throw of 82.73. He was seventh in the first round, but his throw was fouled in the second round.

Arshad Nadeem threw 82.75 meters in the third round, but his fourth throw was also fouled, which put him out of the medal race.

Apart from this, defending champion India’s Neeraj Chopra was also out of the medal race. Javelin thrower Tharoor, who secured all three positions in the World Athletics Championships 2023, was out of the event. India’s Neeraj Chopra, Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem and Czech Republic’s Jakub Vidlich could not show a significant performance in Tokyo.
