Pakistan Losses Three Consecutive Matches in World Cup

Defending champions Australia defeated Pakistan by 107 runs in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, the third consecutive defeat for the Green Shirts in the event. Chasing a target of 222 runs, Pakistan Women’s team was bundled out for 114 runs. In the match played in Colombo, Pakistan Women’s team won the toss and invited Australia to bat.

Pakistani bowlers bowl out Australia for 7 wickets for just 76 runs, but then Beth Mooney scored a brilliant century while Alana King played an innings of 51 runs. The two made a partnership of 106 runs for the ninth wicket. For Pakistan, Nashra Sindhu got 3 wickets, Fatima Sana and Rameen Shamim got 2 wickets each.

Chasing a target of 222 runs, Pakistan’s batting line once again faltered. The first wicket of the national team fell for 8 runs and then half the team returned to the pavilion for 31 runs, while the entire team was out for 114 runs in the 37th over. Kim Gareth got 3 wickets for the Kangaroos. Earlier, the Pakistan Women’s team was defeated by Bangladesh and then India.
