Australian Cricketers Start Skipping T20 Series Against India due to Ashes Series.

In view of the Ashes series against England, Australian cricketers have started skipping the T20 series against India. All the potential players from the first Test of the Ashes series will play the next round of the Sheffield Shield. According to sources, Travis Head has been released from the Australian T20 squad for the Sheffield Shield match. He will not play the last 2 T20 matches against India.

Australia’s top cricketers will play the fourth round of the Sheffield Shield, with Travis Head, Mitchell Starc, Steve Smith and Josh Hazlewood in action. Several Australian cricketers have preferred red-ball cricket over white-ball cricket to prepare for the Test series, with Josh Hazlewood and Shane Abbott also leaving the T20 squad for domestic cricket.

Tanvir Sangha has also been released from the T20 squad, he will play the ODI Cup, Ben Darshav has been included in the T20 squad for the remaining matches of the series against India. The fourth and fifth T20 matches between Australia and India will be played on November 6 and 8.
