Hong Kong Sixes Tournament: Pakistan Defeated Kuwait by 4 wickets.

Pakistan made a winning start in the Hong Kong Sixes Tournament, defeating Kuwait by four wickets in the first match. Pakistan captain Abbas Afridi won the toss and decided to bowl first. Kuwait scored 123 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted 6 overs. Abbas Afridi and Moaz Sadaqat got one wicket each for Pakistan.

Chasing the target, the Pakistan team won the match for the loss of one wicket. Khawaja Nafie remained unbeaten on 25 and Shahid Aziz on 23 runs, while Mohammad Shahzad retired injured after scoring 14 runs and had to leave the field. Captain Abbas Afridi played a brilliant innings of 55 runs in which he hit 1 four and 8 sixes in 12 balls to win the Player of the Match award. Mohammad Shafiq took one wicket for Kuwait. Pakistan will play its next match in the event against India today.
