Pakistan Shaheens defeated India A to qualify for the semi-finals of the Asia Cup Rising Stars. In the group match played in Doha, the capital of Qatar, Pakistan Shaheens won the toss and decided to field first. India A team was dismissed for 136 runs in 19 overs while playing first. Suryawansi scored 45 runs and Naman Dhir scored 35 runs for India A. The last 8 wickets of India A could only add 45 runs to the score. For Pakistan Shaheens, Shahid Aziz got 3 wickets for 24 runs. Moaz Sadaqat and Saad Masood got two wickets each. Sufyan Muqeem, Obaid Shah and Ahmed Daniyal dismissed one player each.

In reply, Pakistan Shaheens achieved the target of 137 runs in 13.2 overs for the loss of only 2 wickets thanks to the brilliant batting of Moaz Sadaqat. Moaz Sadaqat played an unbeaten innings of 79 runs off 47 balls, his innings included 7 fours and 4 sixes. Besides him, Muhammad Faiq remained not out with 16 runs.
