Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars by a huge margin of 76 runs. In the match played in Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi batted first and scored 173 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Kushal Mendis scored 74 and captain Babar Azam scored 43 runs. Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi got three wickets and Mustafizur Rehman got two wickets.
Chasing the target, Lahore Qalandars’ batting line-up failed once again and the entire team was bowled out for 97 runs in 17 overs. Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafiq scored 21 runs each and Vela Lage scored 20 runs. Michael Bracewell and Sufyan Muqim got three wickets each for Zalmi.
