Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan by defeating them in the Sylhet Test. On the last day of the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Sylhet, Bangladesh needed 3 wickets to win, while Pakistan needed 121 runs to win. On the 5th day of the Test match, Pakistan team was all out for 359 in pursuit of a target of 437 runs and thus Bangladesh defeated the national team by 78 runs. Bangladesh Test team made history by clean sweeping Pakistan team in a two-Test series. The visiting team Pakistan lost the first Test by 104 runs at Dhaka while the second and final Test was defeated by 78 runs in Sylhet.
