Sahibzada Farhan has been handed over the leadership of Pakistan T20 team for Asian Games 2026. The men’s T20 International competitions in Asian Games 2026 will begin from September 24 in Aichi, Japan. The cricket medal competitions in Asian Games will be held on October 3. The PCB says that Abdul Samad will serve as vice-captain along with 30-year-old Sahibzada Farhan. Sahibzada Farhan has scored 1305 runs in 46 T20 International matches for Pakistan, including 2 centuries and 10 half-centuries. Pakistan’s squad includes captain Sahibzada Farhan, vice-captain Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Ahmed Daniyal, Akif Javed, Ali Raza, Arafat Minhas, Haider Ali and Hassan Nawaz. In addition, Moaz Sadaqat, Muhammad Salman Mirza, Saad Masood, Saim Ayub, Sufyan Muqeem and Usman Khan are also part of the squad.
