The International Cricket Council has released the latest Test player rankings.
Pakistan Test team captain Babar Azam has dropped out of the top 10 in the Test rankings.
In the Test batting rankings, England’s Harry Brook remains in first position, while Australia’s Steve Smith moved up one place to second, and England’s Joe Root dropped to third.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam fell out of the top 10, dropping 5 places to 15th, while Sri Lanka’s Kamindu Mendis climbed 2 places to 10th. Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel jumped 15 places to 18th, and Sri Lanka’s Sonal Dinusha moved to 25th.
Mohammad Rizwan dropped 7 places to 33rd, Shan Masood dropped 3 places to 41st, and Salman Ali Agha also dropped 3 places to 43rd.
In the bowlers’ rankings, Australia’s Mitchell Starc remains in first place, while New Zealand’s Matt Henry moved up one place to second. England’s Ollie Robinson climbed 6 places to 5th, and Sri Lanka’s Asitha Fernando moved up 4 places to 11th. Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas is at 15th, England’s Josh Tongue moved up 4 places to 13th, while England’s Gus Atkinson dropped 10 places to 24th.
