Pakistan women batted first and scored 177 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted overs. In reply, Sri Lanka women chased down the target by scoring 181 for the loss of 2 wickets in 17.5 overs and secured a place in the final. Sri Lankan captain Chamari Athapaththu played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 83 runs, while Hasini Perera scored 42 runs.
