India set New Zealand a target of 250 runs to win in the final match of the group level in the ICC Champions Trophy. The match between India and New Zealand is being played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium where New Zealand won the toss and decided to field against India.
Batting first, the Indian team scored 249 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Three players of the Indian team returned to the pavilion on 30 runs, Shubman Gill 2, Rohit Sharma 15 and Virat Kohli got out after scoring 11 runs. India’s Shree Yas Iyer played the highest innings of 79 runs, Hardik Pandya scored 45 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 4 fours while Patel Patel scored 42 runs.
