Champions Trophy: The English team was bowled out for 179 runs, South Africa reached the semi-finals.

In the 11th match of the ICC Champions Trophy, the England team was bowled out for 179 runs against South Africa. In the match being played in Karachi, England decided to bat after winning the toss against South Africa.

The English team had a disappointing start to the innings and wickets continued to fall but Root, Archer and Ben Duckett resisted but England were bowled out for 179 runs. Root 37, Archer 25 were outstanding. Johnsen and Milder went 3, 3 and Maharaj struck out two.

The South African team crossed the target of 179 runs on the first ball of the thirtieth over. On the basis of run rate, South Africa also qualified for the semi-finals. Afghanistan team is out of the Champions Trophy semi-final race. India, New Zealand, South Africa and Australia have reached the semi-final. Who will face whom in the semi-final will be decided tomorrow.
