Egypt and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has won the Footballer of the Year award for the third time. The Professional Footballers’ Association has named 33-year-old Mohamed Salah of Egypt and Liverpool as the Footballer of the Year.
Mohamed Salah, who joined Liverpool in 2017, was the top scorer in the last Premier League with 29 goals and played a key role in helping his team win the title. Mohamed Salah was also the Player of the Season by scoring the most goals in the Premier League with 29 goals, and he has also won the Golden Boot and the Playmaker Award for the most assists.
Mohamed Salah has become the first player to win all three awards, including Player of the Year, in the same season. Previously, Salah won the Player of the Year award in his first season at Liverpool in 2018 and again in 2022.
