Indian team captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar announced the squad in a press conference. Rohit Sharma will captain the team in the ICC Champions Trophy while Shibman Gul will be the vice-captain.
Rohit Sharma, Shibman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Harik Pandya, Akshar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, jesprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Arshadeep Singh, Yashvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadija in the 15-member squad of the Indian team.
The ICC Champions Trophy will start on 19th of feb 2025. The first match will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand. The Indian team will play their first match against Bangladesh in Dubai on February 20, while the matches between Pakistan and India will be played under the Hubbard model.
