New Zealand won the tri-nation series by defeating Pakistan. The Kiwis achieved Pakistan’s target of 243 runs in the 46th over with the loss of 5 wickets.
In the final match played in Karachi, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat. Fakhr Zaman scored 10 runs, Saud Shakeel scored 8 runs and Babar Azam returned to the pavilion with 29 runs. Rizwan and Salman managed the team and played an innings of partnership of 88 runs. Mohammad Rizwan 46 and Salman Ali Agha 45 runs were dismissed. Tayyab Tahir also scored 38 runs. The whole team got out in the last over. Will O’Rick of New Zealand got four wickets, Bracewell and Santner got two wickets each.
Chasing the target of 243 runs, New Zealand did not get off to a promising start. On the second wicket, Kane Williamson and Conway batted responsibly, but Williamson scored 34 runs on a total score of 76. Conway also scored 48 and returned to Pavilion. Mitchell and Latham were dismissed with 57 and 56 respectively.
New Zealand achieved the target in the 46th over for the loss of 5 wickets and thus defeated the Green Shirts in the tri-series. Naseem Shah of Pakistan took 2 wickets, Shaheen, Abrar and Salman took one wicket each.
