Pakistan Women continued their impressive run of form by defeating Thailand in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers and qualified for the 2025 World Cup.
In the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier match played in Lahore, Pakistan Women’s Team won the toss and elected to bat against Thailand and, batting first, scored 205 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Sidra Amin scored 80 and captain Fatima Sana scored 62 runs.
Chasing a target of 206 runs, Thailand were bowled out for 118 runs in the 35th over. Pakistani bowlers Fatima Sana, Nashra Sindhu and Ramin Shamim took 3 wickets each. Captain Fatima Sana was awarded the Player of the Match award for her all-round performance.
