PCB Obtains Mobile Data of Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan, Scope of Investigation Widens.

by Web Desk

The Pakistan Cricket Board has obtained the phone data of Pakistani cricketers in London. Following Pakistan’s defeat in the Lord’s Test, the PCB has widened the scope of its investigation against Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan. If solid evidence is found, they could face heavy fines and a ban. Apart from the activities of both cricketers, investigators are also checking who they were in contact with.

It is also not out of the question that they may not get the opportunity to represent Pakistan in the future.

According to sources, after the 194-run defeat in the Lord’s Test, the team’s security officer confiscated the mobile phones of both players upon arrival at the hotel. Several hours later, after the data was transferred elsewhere, the phones were returned to them. When contacted, a PCB spokesperson refused to confirm the matter.
