The champions of Australia’s Big Bash League, have added 2 Pakistani players to their squad for GSL 2026. The current champions of the Big Bash League, Perth Scorchers, announced their squad for the Guyana Super League on Monday, while the tournament will be played from August 7 to September 20. Veteran Australian middle-order batsman Ashton Turner, who led Multan Sultans in this year’s Pakistan Super League, has been appointed as the captain of the Scorchers XI. The squad includes six foreign cricketers, including Pakistan’s Usman Khan and Sufyan Muqim. Sufyan Muqim, who is currently representing Derbyshire in the Vitality Bubble 2026, was the highest wicket-taker in PSL 11, taking 22 wickets in 11 innings at an impressive average of 14.40. On the other hand, Usman Khan was the fourth highest run-scorer in the eight-team tournament, scoring 389 runs in 11 innings at a decent average of 35.36 and a superb strike rate of 162.76, including a century and three half-centuries.
