Head coach of Pakistan White Ball Team, Mike Hesson, says that Pakistan needs more effective batting in the middle overs of One Day International cricket. Speaking on the PCB Podcast, Mike Hesson said that work is ongoing on the One Day International squad keeping in mind the World Cup because our goal is to prepare the best possible One Day International squad in the next one and a half years. Mike Hesson said that the recent White Ball Camp provided the best opportunity to test new talent, the young players have the potential but they need more work and time. He said that the focus is on taking more wickets in the power play and bringing consistency in bowling, and performance will improve further with improvement in fitness. The head coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team said that the series against Australia is a great opportunity for young players to show their talents, Australia is a strong opponent, the fans will fully support the team and the young players. Mike Hesson also said that the Pakistani fans are enthusiastic and their support is very important for the team.
