PSL Eliminator 2: Lahore Qalandars defeated Islamabad to reach the final.

In the second eliminator of HBL Pakistan Super League 10, Lahore Qalandars defeated Islamabad United to make it to the final. Chasing a target of 203 runs, Islamabad United were bundled out for 107 runs and thus lost by 95 runs.

In the match played in Lahore, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to bat against Islamabad United. Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Naeem opened the innings for Lahore, but Fakhar was dismissed early after scoring 12 runs. After that, Mohammad Naeem and Abdullah Shafiq returned to the pavilion after scoring 50 and 25 runs respectively. Kushal Perera was outstanding by scoring 61 runs. Qalandars’ Tamal Mills got three wickets and Salman Irshad got two wickets.

 Chasing a huge target of 203 runs, Islamabad United’s wickets kept falling at regular intervals. After falling for four wickets for 33 runs, Salman Ali Aghaz scored 33 runs and captain Shadab Khan scored 26 runs, but apart from these two batsmen, no one could enter double figures.

Islamabad United were all out for 107 in the 16th over and lost by 95 runs. Shaheen Afridi, Salman Mirza and Rashad Hussain got three wickets each. With this win, Qalandars reached the final. They will face Quetta Gladiators on Sunday.
