Al Riyadh (Kamran Ashraf) The opening ceremony of Pakistani Week at Riyadh Season saw former Pakistani cricket captain Shoaib Malik light up the event, filling fans with excitement. The event was attended by Pakistani Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, members of the Pakistani community, and a diverse audience from Saudi Arabia, India, Bangladesh, and other countries, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
Speaking at the event, Shoaib Malik expressed his delight, saying, “It feels great to be here in Riyadh. Saudi Cricket and the Saudi Arabia Cricket Federation have contributed significantly to promoting cricket in Saudi Arabia. It’s wonderful to celebrate Riyadh Season and Pakistani Culture Week at Suwaidi Park.” His presence was a source of pride for the Pakistani community, and it brought joy to Pakistani cricket fans.
The popular Pakistani band Khumariyaan also delivered an energetic performance, captivating the crowd with their music. Attendees praised the General Entertainment Authority and the Ministry of Media for their excellent arrangements for Riyadh Season. They remarked that this family event was further enhanced by the display of Pakistani culture, star player Shoaib Malik, and remarkable performances, making it an enjoyable experience for all.
